90 Russian Ships Hit in a Week, Ukrainian Forces Report

(SEA OF AZOV) – Ukraine’s military has destroyed or disabled more than 70 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov over the past six days. The Unmanned Systems Forces have been conducting a sustained campaign targeting the logistical supply lines of the occupying forces.

The operation has focused on tankers, tugboats, ferries, and dry cargo ships. Footage released by the units involved documents the systematic destruction, with on-screen counters confirming each successive strike. A compilation from the night of 10 July shows the tally reaching vessel number 48, and subsequent releases have pushed the figure to 76. The press service of the Unmanned Systems Forces disseminated the video evidence.

Further reports from the “Madyar’s Birds” unit, part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, indicate the pace of the campaign has accelerated. They reported that 14 vessels were struck in a single night, bringing the weekly total to 90. The unit stated it was hitting a target on average every 112 minutes in the Sea of Azov.

Satellite imagery and photographs from the coastline near occupied territories and Crimea show the consequences of the strikes. Multiple tankers have been seen burning at sea, with images revealing significant oil spills spreading across the water.

The sustained attacks aim to sever maritime resupply routes to the occupied Crimean peninsula. Analysts suggest the Russian shipping industry in the Sea of Azov has been functionally crippled. The commander of the “Madyar’s Birds” unit declared that work would continue, stating, “We will stand. Moscow will fall.”
