(KHERSON REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards have destroyed two Russian boats along with their crews before they could be launched into the Dnipro River, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU).
Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles from the DPSU targeted the vessels on the southern front, where they have become accustomed to sinking enemy boats in the Dnipro waters. On this occasion, the drone operators struck earlier, destroying both boats while the occupiers were still preparing them for deployment.
In the same operation, Ukrainian forces destroyed a multiple launch rocket system that Russian forces had planned to use to terrorise the Kherson region. Three enemy vehicles were also eliminated.
The DPSU stated that its actions are effectively reducing the enemy’s capabilities and reaffirmed its role as an integral component of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
Footage of the operation was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU). The engagement took place on the southern front in the Kherson region.
