(KHARKIV OBLAST) – Ukrainian border guards are conducting systematic route clearance operations to keep logistics corridors safe for military transport along the front line.
Enemy forces maintain constant surveillance of Ukrainian supply routes, deploying loitering munitions known as “waiting drones” and mines to disrupt movement. These threats can turn a routine journey into a serious hazard for personnel and equipment.
To counter this, Ukrainian crews conduct reconnaissance before any movement takes place. Teams inspect routes, identify dangerous sections, and detect enemy drones to allow Ukrainian transport to operate with reduced risk.
“The enemy is trying to place obstacles in our way. We find them and remove them,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
The work is carried out by border guard units operating in support of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, ensuring that essential supplies and personnel can reach forward positions.
Footage of the route clearance operations was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The operations took place along front line logistics routes in Kharkiv Oblast.
