(KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards from the 4th Border Detachment have inflicted significant losses on Russian forces along the South Slobozhanskyi direction throughout August, destroying 138 occupiers, wounding 145 and capturing three prisoners, according to a report released by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The unit, operating as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces near Vovchansk and Zolochiv in Kharkiv Oblast, also destroyed 199 unmanned aerial vehicles, 31 vehicles, two D-30 howitzers, one ground robotic system, five quad bikes, two motorbikes, one mortar, one Ture-75 multiple rocket launcher system, 17 explosive devices, 14 electronic warfare systems, 24 communication and internet antennas, one Murom video surveillance system, 24 shelters, three observation posts, two drone launch positions and 23 ammunition and logistics depots.
In addition, the unit damaged 53 vehicles, one ground robotic system, 250 shelters, eight observation posts, two drone control points, four drone launch positions, one howitzer, five electronic warfare systems, nine communication antennas and one equipment depot.
The press service stated that behind every figure is not statistics but a thwarted attack, severed logistics, paralysed command and a saved life of a Ukrainian soldier.
Russian forces continue to attempt pressure along the direction, but each such attempt results in new losses, the press service said.
