Russian Strikes Reduce Druzhkivka to Ruins as Evacuation Grows Perilous

(DRUZHKIVKA, KRAMATORSK RAION, DONETSK OBLAST) – Devastated neighbourhoods, destroyed bridges, collapsed apartment blocks and burnt out flats now define the city of Druzhkivka in Kramatorsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, according to aerial reconnaissance footage released by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The footage, captured by drones operated by the border unit “Phoenix,” reveals the full scale of Russian destruction across the city. The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s forces are relentlessly striking the city with aerial bombs and artillery, while scorching it with drones, effectively bringing all civilian life to a halt.

The few remaining local residents are forced to survive in inhumane conditions, while evacuation from Druzhkivka grows increasingly dangerous by the day. The city, part of the Kramatorsk-Kostiantynivka metropolitan area in the north of Donetsk Oblast, has been left without bridges, power, or safe shelter.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine attributed the destruction to the “Russian world” ideology, describing it as a misanthropic doctrine imposed by the occupier on Ukrainian lands..
