(KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards are continuing to detect and destroy drone traps left by Russian forces along roads in northern Kharkiv Oblast, according to the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles from the Hart border brigade have been identifying so called “waiting drones”, explosive devices left by Russian troops to target Ukrainian forces and civilians moving along roadways.
Once detected, the dangerous devices are immediately destroyed by drone drops, preventing potential casualties.
The press service warned that movement along roads in northern Kharkiv Oblast requires extreme caution, as the enemy has left numerous traps in the area.
A loss of vigilance could prove extremely costly, the statement noted, with Russian forces deploying waiting drones in large quantities.
The Hart brigade, operating as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, destroys enemy forces and equipment while holding back Russian attempts to break through in northern Kharkiv Oblast.
The brigade is recruiting personnel without the involvement of territorial recruitment centres, with vacancies available in analytics, drone operations, IT, communications, engineering and medicine.
The footage was released by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, showing drone operators from the Hart brigade destroying Russian waiting drones in Kharkiv Oblast.
