(MOSCOW) – Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov erupted in a tirade of threats and conspiracies on his radio programme “Full Contact,” reacting to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s trip to Washington.
Solovyov branded Zelensky a “terrorist” and demanded his assassination, arguing that the Ukrainian leader’s aircraft should be considered a legitimate military target anywhere in the world. “He is a terrorist. If we declare him a terrorist, it means we have the right to destroy him anywhere in the world,” Solovyov said. He claimed he could no longer listen to Russian officials who speak of negotiations with someone he accused of personally ordering the killing of Russians.
The state media host described the Ukrainian government as “rabid, phenomenally narcissistic, and very stupid but cunning people with zero knowledge of history,” acting on behalf of their “American master.” He insisted the West would forgive any crime committed by what he called the “so-called Ukrainian regime.”
Solovyov argued the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should not travel to America for a G20 summit, alleging the United States cannot guarantee the security of its own leader, let alone a foreign one. He claimed Americans have never honoured a single agreement in history, describing their culture as “built on constant lies elevated to a virtue.”
The broadcast veered into threats of nuclear escalation. Solovyov predicted Western-supplied ballistic missiles would target not only the Kerch Bridge and government residences but also strike nuclear power plants. “I just want no one to have any illusions,” he stated.
In a fiery conclusion, he abandoned any pretence of diplomacy, calling for Russia to embrace its “biblical” wrath. “We don’t need their love. We need their panicked fear,” Solovyov thundered, demanding Russia display a level of cruelty that would erase enemies, their families, and their lands, like the fire that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
