(UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards are systematically clearing logistics routes of Russian “waiting” drones that have been deployed to intercept Ukrainian transport. The morning routine for reconnaissance drone operators of the “Forpost” brigade of the State Border Guard Service now begins with route reconnaissance before any movement can proceed.
The enemy has been placing ambush drones along logistics routes, hoping to strike Ukrainian transport vehicles. In response, the border guards first check the routes and identify potential threats. When an enemy drone is located, the operators employ drop munitions to eliminate it.
This methodical approach has allowed the border guards to gradually clear logistics routes of the enemy’s dangerous “surprises” and ensure safer movement for Ukrainian transport. The work is painstaking but essential for maintaining supply lines.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that it remains an integral component of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and constantly implements modern and innovative approaches to countering Russian aggression. The use of unmanned technologies allows border guards to more effectively detect and destroy enemy weapons, monitor the situation and protect vital logistics routes.
The footage was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU).
