(LYMAN DIRECTION, DONETSK OBLAST) – Ukrainian border guard drone pilots have destroyed a Russian self-propelled artillery system and a surface to air missile complex during a week of intensive operations across multiple front line sectors. The strikes were carried out by the Phoenix unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to a statement released by the unit, the most significant targets were eliminated on the Lyman section of the front. Russian forces there lost a 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer and a Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system over the course of the week. The unit also reported successful strikes against Russian infantry and additional artillery pieces.
On the Hulyaipole direction, Phoenix pilots struck another artillery gun while focusing increased attention on enemy logistics and small infantry groups.
A similar situation was reported near Dobropillia, where Russian forces attempted infiltration tactics. The unit stated that drone strikes successfully targeted enemy motorcycles, quad bikes and sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
The highest number of logistical losses for Russian forces occurred on the Toretsk direction. Phoenix drones destroyed UAZ-452 vans, known colloquially as “bukhankas,” along with lorries and passenger vehicles used to transport personnel. The unit confirmed that enemy infantry was also successfully engaged.
“Any target that enters the Phoenix zone is subject to immediate destruction. This is an axiom that we prove in practice,” the unit stated.
The footage was released by the Phoenix unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
