Ukrainian Border Guard Drones Strike Russian Artillery and Electronic Warfare Systems in the South

(SOUTHERN UKRAINE) – Drone pilots from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) have carried out a series of successful strikes against Russian positions in southern Ukraine, destroying multiple artillery pieces, electronic warfare systems and enemy shelters, the SBGS press service reported on 19th August 2026.

The strikes resulted in the destruction of three guns, three communication antennas, two electronic warfare (EW) systems and several enemy shelters, which were completely burned out. Russian personnel were also hit during the operation.

“The defeat of these targets significantly weakens the occupiers’ ability to coordinate the actions of their units, conduct surveillance and provide fire support,” the SBGS statement said.

“The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine effectively reduces the enemy’s capabilities and remains an integral part of the Defence Forces of Ukraine,” the statement added.

Footage of the strikes was released by the Press Service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
