(KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Border guards of the rapid response commandant’s office of the 4th Border Detachment have destroyed 12 Russian strike drones on the South Slobozhanskyi front, according to the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The crews work round the clock combat against air threats. Ukrainian units daily record enemy attempts to use strike drones against personnel and equipment of the Defence Forces, as well as against the civilian population of Kharkiv Oblast.
As a result of the latest operation, three Molniya unmanned aerial vehicles and nine FPV drones were destroyed. Three of the FPV drones were hit in flight. A further six were neutralised in wait mode, where they were waiting for a target to approach before attacking.
This means the enemy lost part of its strike assets before they could be used against Ukrainian forces.
Each neutralised drone represents a disrupted enemy plan and saved lives of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians.
Footage was released by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
