Border Guards Destroy 51 Russian Drones Over Chernihiv Oblast

(CHERNIHIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards destroyed 51 Russian drones over Chernihiv Oblast in the past 24 hours, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU) has reported.

Crews of unmanned systems from the 105th Border Guard Detachment carried out the intercepts. In one engagement, a Shahed drone attempted to manoeuvre and change course to evade interception. The Ukrainian interceptor pursued and destroyed it.

Russian drones may choose any route, but Ukrainian pilots choose their ending, the DPSU said.

The footage was released by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU). The engagement occurred in Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine.
