Border Guards Destroy Russian Vehicles and Ammo Depot in Kharkiv

(NORTH SLOBOZHANSKY DIRECTION, KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guard operators from the PRIME unmanned systems unit of the 5th Border Detachment have destroyed multiple Russian military targets, including vehicles, an armoured combat vehicle and an ammunition depot.

The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released footage on 4th September 2026 showing the unit’s continued operations against Russian forces in the North Slobozhansky direction. The attacks resulted in the destruction of eight cars and one armoured combat vehicle.

The border guards also struck an enemy ammunition depot. According to the press service, the depot burned for a prolonged period following the strike. Russian forces also suffered losses among manpower.

The PRIME unit operates continuously, with operators stating their mission is to locate, strike and destroy enemy targets. 

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has issued a recruitment appeal for the unmanned systems unit. Those interested in joining are directed to complete an online questionnaire or contact the service directly.
