(SARATOV, SARATOV OBLAST) – A fire has broken out at an Ozon marketplace logistics centre in Saratov, Russia, following reports of a drone attack, according to the OSINT analyst ASTRA.
The blaze was reported at the facility after local residents said a UAV strike preceded the fire. Employees were evacuated and emergency services are working at the scene. Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin had earlier announced a drone attack threat in the region, and local authorities have not yet officially commented on the fire or its causes.
Separately, a fire was reported at the Saratov oil refinery during the night of 11th September 2026. At around 02:00, Busargin announced the threat of a drone attack and said emergency services had been placed on full alert.
“The Ministry of Defence reported a UAV threat. Warning systems may operate locally in areas of possible danger,” Busargin wrote.
ASTRA later established that the fire broke out on the premises of the Saratov oil refinery. There is currently no confirmation that the fire resulted from a drone attack. The refinery has been operating since 1934 and has been part of Rosneft since 2013. According to ASTRA, the facility had previously been attacked at least 16 times and suspended operations on 5th August.
The Russian Ministry of Defence reported a UAV threat. Emergency services remain at both sites.
