Ukrainian Border Guards Destroy Russian Grad System

(KURSK OBLAST, RUSSIA / KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian drone operators have destroyed a Russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system along with a range of other military targets during combat operations on the Kursk and North Slobozhanskyi fronts.

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU), operators from the “Steel Border” brigade, operating as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, struck enemy positions on both axes. The combat work resulted in the destruction of Russian manpower, seven shelters, three generators and two ammunition stores.

Additional targets hit included the Grad multiple rocket system, a vehicle, a cannon and a “zhdun” drone, a type of loitering munition used by Russian forces to wait for targets before striking.

The press service confirmed that combat operations are ongoing. The unit continues to conduct strikes against Russian forces in the Kursk direction within Russian territory and along the northern sector of the Kharkiv frontline in Ukraine.
