(YEKATERINBURG, RUSSIA) – A logistics centre belonging to the retailer Wildberries has been struck and set ablaze, the company has confirmed. Staff were evacuated and the acceptance of new deliveries has been suspended.
The incident occurred at the firm’s complex in Yekaterinburg. Wildberries stated a fire broke out at the facility following an attack, and that firefighting crews were deployed to the site.
Earlier, Russia’s federal air transport agency, Rosaviatsiya, imposed temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures at Koltsovo Airport. The governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Denis Pasler, declared a state of danger in the region citing a drone threat. An open source intelligence analysis by ASTRA indicated the logistics centre was hit.
Wildberries noted that personnel had been evacuated in advance and that incoming shipments are being redirected to other facilities. There has been no official information on casualties, and independent verification of the attack’s details remains unavailable.
