(KYIV, UKRAINE) – Ukraine’s security services have reported the systematic destruction of Russian military transport and logistics infrastructure by special operations forces.
According to a statement released by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on 14 August, fighters from the Alpha Special Operations Centre have been targeting enemy supply lines both on the front line and deep behind it. The operations are aimed at depriving Russian forces of fuel, ammunition and personnel.
The SBU reported that over the past month, its special forces have destroyed or damaged nearly 2,400 units of enemy transport, including command and staff vehicles and specialist equipment. The operations form part of a broader campaign that has also struck Russian oil infrastructure and the shadow fleet used to circumvent sanctions.
The SBU has issued a recruitment appeal for its Alpha unit, inviting candidates to call 4444 free of charge or visit the official selection website for more information.
