Ukraine Destroys Three Russian Aircraft in Coordinated Strikes in Rostov, Krasnodar and Crimea

(ROSTOV OBLAST AND KRASNODAR KRAI, RUSSIA; CRIMEA) – Ukrainian unmanned systems forces have destroyed three Russian military aircraft and a significant array of air defence systems in coordinated strikes across Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai and occupied Crimea, according to the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces.

The strikes destroyed a Su-33 fighter jet, a MiG-29 fighter jet and an Orion strike reconnaissance drone, all located near Vityazevo in Krasnodar Krai. The aircraft were hit by the 1st Unmanned Systems Centre.

In addition to the aircraft, Ukrainian forces struck eight radar systems, an S-400 Triumf air defence division position in Gelendzhik, and two short range air defence systems, a Tor and a Pantsir.

Eleven of the fourteen targets were successfully engaged in Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai, with the remaining three in Crimea.

• Pantsir-S1 air defence system, Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, 1st Unmanned Systems Centre

The strikes were announced on Ukraine’s National Flag Day, with the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces reiterating: “We will stand. Moscow will fall.”
