(SOUTHERN SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA FRONT, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian border guards have destroyed a Russian transport vehicle carrying electronic warfare equipment, a buggy, a car, two loitering drones, a mortar and a mine on the Southern Slobozhanshchyna front, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU).
The strikes were carried out by crews of the rapid response border commandant’s office of the “STRIKS” unit, part of the 4th Border Guard Detachment, which continues to systematically exhaust Russian forces in the sector. During the latest operation, operators hit a transport vehicle with electronic warfare equipment on board. The presence of the equipment did not prevent Ukrainian drones from detecting and destroying the target.
Crews of the “STRIKS” unit also destroyed a buggy and a passenger car being used by Russian forces to move personnel and cargo. Two unmanned aerial vehicles in “waiting” mode, prepared to attack once a target appeared, were also struck, along with a mortar and a mine readied for use against Ukrainian forces and assets.
Accurate reconnaissance and coordinated work by operators are depriving Russian forces of the equipment and resources needed to conduct combat operations in this section of the front. The transport vehicle with electronic warfare equipment, the buggy, the passenger car, the two loitering drones, the mortar and the mine are the latest results of the “STRIKS” unit’s combat work.
