Wildberries’ Largest Warehouse Destroyed in Moscow Region Blaze

(MOSCOW REGION) – Two major logistics facilities near Moscow have been struck, with the largest hub of Russian online retailer Wildberries engulfed in flames in Koledino, according to footage released by the Ukraine365 channel on 16th August 2026.

The Koledino logistics centre, covering 229,500 square metres, is the company’s largest warehouse. The facility had taken on increased logistical importance after previous strikes on other major centres forced a redistribution of operations.

A second warehouse in the Severnoye Domodedovo complex was also damaged in the incident.

Eyewitness accounts from the scene describe extensive fires visible from the town of Podolsk in Moscow Oblast, with thick black smoke rising over the area. Several entrepreneurs reported losing goods stored at the facility.

The Koledino warehouse was reportedly the only remaining storage site for numerous sellers, following a series of similar incidents in recent weeks.

“The main logistics load was redistributed to Koledino, which further increased its importance,” the video report stated. “Now there is nothing left to burn.”

No casualties have been reported, with reports suggesting staff were evacuated in advance.

The cause of the fires has not been officially confirmed. Russian authorities have not commented on the incidents.
