(MOSCOW REGION, RUSSIA) – Drones have attacked the largest logistics warehouse of Russian online retailer Wildberries in Koledino, Moscow region, according to local public channels and OSINT communities.
Russian authorities claimed that nearly 90 drones were intercepted on approach to Moscow. The extent of damage to the warehouse facility has not yet been independently verified.
The attack follows a series of Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries warehouses that have caused damage worth 480 billion roubles ($5.1 billion / £4 billion / €4.7 billion), exceeding the annual budget of Irkutsk Oblast. The marketplace has lost one third of its warehouse capacity.
The Russian government does not plan direct payments to sellers affected by the losses.
Separately, cyber specialists from Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, together with the Cyber Corps community, attacked the digital infrastructure of Wildberries on 10th and 11th August 2026. The operation disrupted the company’s main remote customer service channel, partially destabilised its payment infrastructure and placed additional pressure on contact centres.
The Defence Intelligence press service stated that Wildberries plays an important role in the aggressor’s logistics and the financing of the genocidal war against the Ukrainian people.
Mass complaints were recorded, including reports of inability to make financial transactions. The cyber operation amplified the effect of kinetic attacks by Ukraine’s Defence Forces on Wildberries warehouses, causing further significant losses to a company that feeds the aggressor’s economy and its criminal war against Ukraine.
