(SAMARA, RUSSIA) – A large fire has destroyed a major Wildberries distribution centre in Novosimeykino, a critical logistics hub connecting European Russia to Siberia and the Urals.
The blaze, reported on 2 August 2026, gutted the warehouse described as the tenth successful strike in an ongoing campaign, not counting previous smaller operations. The attack disrupted what was termed a key logistical bridge for goods across the Russian Federation.
Footage released by the Magyar unit of Ukraine’s Unmanned System Forces (USF) shows the warehouse fully ablaze. A voice on the video states: “But the morning is not good. This is the thirteenth warehouse of the Wildberries marketplace. You know, you’re already calm about it, because there were few goods stored, and thank God, as they say, many entrepreneurs had a lot of goods stored.”
The video was accompanied by heavy music and shouting.
The unit’s commentary accompanying the footage noted the location was the main logistical bridge between the European part of the Russian Federation and Siberia.
